Occasionally the orchestra and choir come together to rehearse before a joint gig, but on a weekly basis we meet at separate locations.  

Bristol Reggae Orchestra currently rehearses at:

We rehearse every other Monday from 18:45 to 21:15 and always welcome new faces to the orchestra.

Orchestra Current Vacancies:

• Clarinets
• Bass clarinet
• Violins
• Violas
• Double Bass (must be able to read sheet music)
• Oboes
• Bongo
• Steel drums

There is no audition to join but our Musical Director makes the final decision about all new members. This ensures the orchestra reflects the community in which we are based and keeps a balance of instruments. No members receive payment for playing in the orchestra. We ask members to commit to attending regular rehearsals.
